Curriculum Guide
Our K-5 program lays the foundation for a lifetime of learning. At Asheville PEAK Academy, we create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where scholars build confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning.
English Literature Arts
In grades K–5, scholars build strong literacy foundations through multi-sensory program that makes phonics and early reading engaging and fun. Using movement, stories, songs, and visuals, students master letters, sounds, and spelling patterns in ways that stick.
Science
The K–5 Science curriculum follows the NC Standard Course of Study, engaging students in hands-on activities to explore organisms, matter and energy, force and motion, and Earth and space. Scholars build curiosity and understanding of the natural world while strengthening critical thinking skills.
Math
The K–5 Math curriculum, helps students build a strong foundation in math through a blend of hands-on instruction and digital learning. Students explore key concepts such as addition and subtraction within 20, place value, multiplication and division, fractions, decimals, geometry, and measurement.
Social Studies
The K–5 Social Studies curriculum helps young scholars explore the world in fun, engaging ways through hands-on activities, stories, and discussions. Organized around civics, geography, economics, and history, it builds a strong foundation for understanding people, places, and events—while also reinforcing literacy skills through ELA integration.
